What is Cyclescheme?
Julian House Bike Workshop is part of Cyclescheme: A government sponsored initiative enabling employees and employers to save money through reduced tax liability. The scheme allows bikes to be given to employees as a non-cash benefit; reducing the amount National Insurance and income tax payable by offsetting the value of the bikes.
According to Cyclescheme:
- Employees typically save 32% on the value of the bike through reductions in income tax and National Insurance Contributions.
- Employers typically save 13.8% on the salary sacrifice made by employees through reduced employer’s National Insurance Contributions.
Partner with Bike Workshop
By partnering with Julian House Bike Workshop to give employees access to these benefits, employers contribute to the workshop’s social impact and demonstrate good Corporate Social Responsibility. Julian House is keen to promote these partnerships and the positive impact that they create. Corporate partners can request resources to promote their support of projects that tackle homelessness and addiction in the local area.
It is free to sign up to and full details on all aspects of the scheme can be found on the Cyclescheme website.
